Carruthers Chalet is a luxury European-style chalet. It is a brand-new addition to Perisher Valley with absolute ski-in, ski-out access, a fully-licensed bar, indoor hot tub and drying room.

We have 9 guest rooms, with a maximum of 2 guests per room. All rooms have a private ensuite. Tarriff includes daily cooked breakfast, espresso coffee, nightly 3-course dinner and oversnow transfers from the skitube. Check in and check out is on Fridays and Sundays only.

We are currently taking 2026 bookings. Prices are per room, with a maximum of 2 people per room;

Peak Season (July and August)

2 nights (Friday to Sunday) - $2,400

5 nights (Sunday to Friday) - $3,800

7 Nights (Sunday to Sunday) - $5,800

Shoulder Season (June and September)

2 nights (Friday to Sunday) - $1,400

Check-in is on Friday or Sunday after 2pm. Checkout is on Friday or Sunday before 10am. Guests are welcome to leave their luggage on the premises on check-out day.

Guest transfers are in our oversnow vehicle from the Skitube terminal. Please note there is no overnight parking at Perisher Valley. It is recommended that guests leave their vehicle at Bullocks Flat and reach Perisher via the skitube.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.      Can we have more than 2 people per room?

We can arrange a cot for children under 3. Due to NPWS regulations we can not have more than 2 people aged above 3 in a room.

2.      Is there a discount for having fewer than 2 people per room?

No, our bookings are on a per room basis.

3.      Where is the Chalet located?

It is located on the northern side of Front Valley, approximately 60 metres from the main Perisher Centre.

4.      How do we access the Chalet?

We transport guests and their luggage in our oversnow vehicle from the Skitube terminal. During your stay you will be able to ski in and out from the Chalet. We recommend parking at Bullocks Flat and accessing Perisher via the Skitube. There is no overnight parking at Perisher Valley.

5.      Can we customise our check-in, check-out days or length of stays?

As a small chalet we can only support checking in and out on Fridays and Sundays. Other checkout days may be possible during the Shoulder Season.

6.      Can we have a late departure or early arrival?

We need to have the Chalet vacant between 10am and 2pm on changeover days to enable us to prepare the Chalet for incoming guests. Guests are welcome to leave their luggage in the Chalet on their departure day.

7.      I have a food allergy, can you accommodate me?

Yes we can accomodate food allergies. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss dietary requirements.

8.      Do you have vegetarian and/or vegan options?

Yes, please advise at the time of booking.

9. Can I book the entire Chalet?

Yes, we welcome group bookings.

10. Do you have a bar?

We have a fully licensed bar providing a variety of wine, beer and spirits.

11. Can I BYO alcohol?

Our liquor license does not permit BYO alcohol.
